NEWS
FRIDAY You know that I attend an art school, right? Well I had an art theory test on Friday D8 Our teacher gave us a photo of a building and a reproduction of a painting and we had to tell what style they were, how can we tell and other things. I was freaking out at first because I was sure I would fail since I never read of what we wrote in our notebooks [except for the day we were supposed to have the test - I always study at the last minute. That is, if I DO study at all rofl] >_> Anyway, the pictures that the teacher gave were easy [at least the building was, my last-minute-studying helped for the painting] so I got a 10 [10 is the best mark in Lithuania, for those who didn't know. Why do I even bother, only Lithuanians read my journals anyway... *shot*] 8D!! I went home smiling like a maniac the whole time. I think I scared some children >_>

SATURDAY My mom and I went to Panevėžys to visit my dad at the hospital [he had a surgery on Friday, but it's nothing serious, he's already home C:] We went to do a little shopping before visiting my dad ^^ We went to a book store and I bought two mangas XD [I had to buy them with my own money - my mom refused to buy them for me :| ] We also went to an art store *_* I finally got my hands on the file liners that I've always wanted to buy >:3 I also bought lots of brushes >_> Now I have an urge to do something with watercolour >_>


ART
So I had another art block that lasted since Monday till Friday :| I didn't know what to draw and everything that I attempted to draw turned out... WRONG AND UGLY :|;; It's probably because of the stress about the art test. However, I think it's over now because I was drawing yesterday. A LOT. XD I'm just drawing random stuff, practising stuff, I'm also trying different media [like watercolour]. I'm trying to draw boys [O_O OMG!], dynamic poses, perspective [I fail.... T-T]. Hell, I even attempted to draw something half-anime, half-realism XD Now I need to work more on backgrounds ._.
Yeah, since I'm doodling and practising, not drawing any serious stuff, that means no art from me for a while :| I might make a sketch dump when I have enough sketches XD
I need to finish my entry for a contest, but I'm stuck with the background :| But I'll finish it within 12 days XD ['cuz the deadline is May30 XD]
I gotta go now, my mom keeps bugging me about a project for school :|
